I finally got a chance to visit Chris. We had a great time. Went to San Francisco and he showed me around his school. For those who haven’t yet had a chance to see Chris’s dorm, well, here you go.

I took this video with my phone. It was the first time I used my phone for video. I wasn’t sure the quality I should shoot, so I went with the crappiest. Sorry.

2008 Christmas Morning

I was lucky this year, as I got to spend Christmas Eve and Christmas Morning with the boys. Unfortunately, Joey was sicker then a dog. But, he made it through it. I decided this year to make sure the boys stayed in their room before it was time to come out in the morning, so I wrapped their bedroom door. Anyhow, here is the video.

2008 Christmas Carols

OK. I thought I would start a new Christmas Tradition. Make goodies with the kids and go around, singing Christmas Carols to our friends and relatives handing out the goodies. Worked great this year. Made some a recipe from my site, my famous Butter Cookies. Made 4 batches and went around to hand them out. Everyone had fun and were excited to see us. Hopefully, this tradition will continue.

My Camera Equipment

OK. I know most of you have been curious about the how I am able to get such fantastic video and photographs here on my site. Well, my equipment is not for the lighthearted. You have to have a lot of respect for the equipment you use if you want it to do the job.

OK. Just kidding. Anyhow, here is are some pic’s of my pocket camera. I use this for all of my video, stop motion video and snapshots when I want to discreetly Carry a camera.

Canon PowerShot SD1100IS 8MP Digital Camera
with 3x Optical Image Stabilized Zoom

Here is my little tri-pod. I’m telling you, if you need a little tri-pod for shooting and setting up in strange places, take a look at this on. It is great for shooting video from my bike. See here.

But when I can, I take my Nikon. It takes fantastic pictures. Just doesn’t compare to anything else I own. There are newer models then this one, but I haven’t found any of the new features good enough to upgrade, yet.

Some of my greatest shots were due to this lens. It is great for portraits and distance shots. A great all around lens.

Someone pull me from the computer before I find video of you and put it up here. Here is my latest.

I love all of my sons. They are all so different. My youngest, Joey, is unique in his own right. Just turning 8 years old, this kid never gets bored. He will find ways to entertain himself no matter what he is doing.

This summer I finally let him go swimming by himself (although keeping a watchful eye out). I decided to see what the heck he does out there since he will spend hours swimming alone.
