This is a great recipe for people on the go. After a long day, come home and enjoy a home cooked meal without the hassle.
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 pounds round steak
- 1 cup green pepper
- 1 cup Tomatoes, canned
- 1 cup bean sprouts, canned, drained, flaked
- 1/3 cup soy sauce
- 1 ounce oil
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1/3 teaspoon pepper
- 4 eachs green onion
- 1 clove garlic, minced
Directions
Slice steak into narrow strips. In skillet or slow-cooking pot with browning unit, brown steak in oil. combine with garlic, salt, pepper, soy sauce, and sugar in slow-cooking pot. Cook on low 6 to 8 hours. Turn control to high. Add bean sprouts, tomatoes, and green peppers. Dissolve cornstarch in wate. Stir into pot. Cover and cook on high 15-20 minutes or until thichened. Sprinkle with onions. makes 4 to 5 servings.
